My artistic practice spans a variety of themes, including language, social dynamics, religion, identity, and history. I draw the visual language of my work from familiar objects and spaces, such as tools, ritual items, social spaces, food, and video. I actively seek symbols and historical objects, often conducting in-depth research on specific subjects and locations. These elements are then transformed and combined to generate new associations, serving as entry points for situations, stories, interactive installations, and performances. Through the synthesis of these various artistic forms, I endeavor to articulate personal sentiments and reflect on contemporary social issues, shedding light on cultural nuances, particularly in terms of emotional expressions within Asian society.
In addition to realizing the visual form of the work, I actively engage in collaborations with a diverse range of individuals who encounter my artwork. I extend invitations for them to immerse themselves in the emotional landscape of the work, encouraging them to become participants in the exploration of nuanced emotions.
